This S&B tank holds approximately 60 gallons of fuel. The float's empty position in the S&B Tank is the same as the OEM tank. Since the bottom surface area on the S&B Tank is larger, the 60 Gallon tank with have a greater fuel reserve. The S&B tank install can be done in 2-3 hours and does not require any cutting, drilling, or modifications. S&B offers a free ECM recalibration via EZ Lynk or Forscan for the larger tank so it knows proper distance to empty and fuel levels. The EZ Lynk is used for 2011-2022 trucks, the 2020+ can use the Forscan.
*According to the Ford TSB 17-0046, if your truck has a build date prior to 3-20-17, replace the fuel Level Sender Resistor Card Assembly with Ford part# HC3Z-9A299-N.

If you don't have a skidplate on your truck already, no problem! But if you do, we designed the S&B Tank to allow you to reuse the factory skidplate. We also designed a smaller, factory style skidplate to cover the front of the larger S&B Tank.
The size will allow me when/ where I fill up. That in overpriced California really is a difference maker. Installed it myself, stuck connectors held me up a bit, but got it done in one day. Performance Truck kept me advised of shipping. I will order from them again without hesitation.

New 60gal tank was not that difficult to install. The hardest things are removing those fuel lines, especially the yellow ones. It sure isn’t easy like they show. I called them with a few questions and they were really helpful. A week after I installed it they called me to ask how things were going with the new tank and to make sure everything was okay. Very good company to do business with. Also when installing the tank make sure that long vent line is zip tied to a point above the tank or you will get a little fuel leakage if you totally fill the tank to the top.
Shipping time was spot on. Install took 4 hrs. Now I can go 1-1.2k miles on a tank of fuel. 100% awesome!!
