S&B cold air intake for the 2019+ Silverado/Sierra 5.3L/6.2L was engineered to minimize air restriction and flows about 52% better than stock. This kit comes with a fully enclosed airbox that protects the filter from dirt and keeps out engine heat.
Featuring a massive, highly efficient S&B air filter that snaps into the airbox easily and securely, providing an airtight seal. With our new snap in filter design, you can install and inspect your filter in seconds. Available in either 8-layer Cotton Cleanable (KF-1072) or Dry Extendable (KF-1072D) media.
S&B's new snap-In lid design requires no screws to secure it to the box. This makes installation and inspection quick and easy. S&B's silicone edge trim ensures an airtight seal, protecting against unwanted, power robbing engine heat.
The Mass Airflow Sensor is relocated further down the S&B intake tube allowing for further airflow improvements. S&B's got you covered with our included MAF extension harness.
The air filter, coupler, lid seal and plug seal are all made with silicone. Silicone is a premium rubber which will seal better and last longer. It handles temperatures as high as 400F without cracking or tearing and won't deteriorate over time.
